Mendé is the AfroHouse curator. Born to two parents from different backgrounds, one from St.Lucia and the other from Sierra Leone. The Mendé name derives from the Sierra Leonian tribe that his father belongs to. Growing up Mendé was lucky to have the best of both worlds, the Caribbean and the motherland Africa. His father and mother would always play music from their homeland and would give Mendé the knowledge and Love of all music from many genres. Mendé chose AfroHouse as a Dj. He is inspired by artists such as Saint Evo , Mörda , Black Coffee , Nitefreak , and many others in the genre. Just sit back and listen to the vibes that will make you come out of your seat or put you on a cosmic journey.
